An International Guild Serving the Needs
of Thread and Fiber Artists

The Thread Artist Guild ® was founded in February 2005 as a community of artists working with threads and fibers, who have gathered together to encourage thread artists and support their art form by providing a common meeting ground where knowledge and information is shared. The Thread Artist Guild® also endeavors to raise public awareness of this art form through creative formats such as member challenges, our website and other informational activities. While the current focus is on the creation of bears and other animals, the Thread Artist Guild® hopes to expand and include other types of thread art forms in the future.

We accept members from all over the world and from all skill levels.  Don't make miniature thread bunnies. bears, or other thread creations?  No problem, we also have a "Patron" membership for collectors and others who support  the interests of thread artisans as we develop our skills.

We had 18 artists on display showing all kinds of various ways we can be creative in our artform!  We also sponsored the workshop titled "Get Hooked on Thread Art Bears" lead by one of our founding members, Debi McCarthy-Beckett!  It was a wonderful success and experience for all!
