About the Artist
Handcrafting
has been handed down through my family over the years, from my mother's
mother, to my mother, to me and now also on to my daughter. I have been
creating nearly all my life, mainly in needle arts. Even with years of
hand crafting experience I continue to hone my skills, research new
techniques, and develop new ideas and concepts as I create each of my
bears, other creations, or patterns.
Mini Teddy Hugs ™
In addition to making my own creations, I am the Publisher and Editor for Mini Teddy Hugs ™, an online Teddy Bear magazine for miniature teddy bears and other animals.
Publications/Displays
My bears and friends have appeared in print in Teddy Bear Scene® and
Teddy Bear & Friends® print magazines as well as the online line magazine
Mini Teddy Hugs™. In addition I was also invited to display some creations
at the 2007 Las Vegas IDEX (International Doll Exposition).
